Handwoven by Craftswomen with Our Original Knit Yarn for Maximum Comfort
MERI Zori Slippers are handwoven by experienced craftswomen who can make 2 to 3 pairs a day. As great skill is required to adjust the shape of the slippers while weaving them, the craftswomen are well trained to maintain the level of quality we expect.
The slippers themselves are woven with knit yarn made by knitting machines in Ryogoku, the town where our company was founded. Both history and skills are found in every stitch.

The knit yarn used to make MERI Zori Slippers is Toray Airlet. This soft and smooth knit yarn is hollow, so air can get in, and that keeps the slippers fluffy.
