We acquire, use, manage and protect personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy (this "Policy").
By using our services or making a purchase on our website, you are deemed to have agreed to the contents of this Policy.
Article 1 Scope
This Policy applies to the personal information we acquire when you use our services on our website (meri.daidai.tokyo), browse our web pages, purchase products, or make enquiries.
This Policy does not apply to the following:

In addition, in order to complete transactions and deliveries, we provide the necessary scope of personal information to payment service providers via the Shopify platform (such as Shop Pay, PayPal and credit card companies) and to delivery companies for processing, and we exercise appropriate supervision over these contractors. Article 8 Security Measures
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent the leakage, loss, damage or alteration of your personal information. Our website uses SSL encryption when transmitting data and complies with relevant payment security standards (PCI-DSS) through the Shopify platform. We also impose confidentiality obligations on, and appropriately supervise, employees who handle personal information.

Under the APPI, you may request the following in respect of your personal information held by us:
1. Notification of the purposes of use and disclosure of retained personal data.
2. Correction, addition or deletion of the contents.
3. Suspension of use or erasure.
4. Suspension of provision to third parties.
Please submit such requests through the contact point set out in Article 12. After verifying your identity, we will respond within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable laws. This does not apply where we are under a retention obligation under the APPI or other laws and regulations, or where we are not obliged to comply with the request.
Article 10 Personal Information of Minors
The services on our website are primarily intended for adults. Customers under the age of 18 may not provide personal information or use our website unless their legal representative (a parent or guardian) has reviewed and agreed to the entire contents of this Policy. Where a minor uses our website, their legal representative is deemed to have agreed to the contents of this Policy.
