The other day, we had the opportunity to observe artisan Mita Sensei at work together with influencer Haru.

It was still early in the morning, yet she had already finished weaving one pair.
We were immediately struck by the speed and precision of her work.

Currently, Mita Sensei is in charge of creating the deep pink bases paired with embroidered straps.

As it happened to be one of Haru’s favorite designs, the conversation naturally grew lively.
They spoke at length—not only about the mindset behind weaving, but also about Mita Sensei herself.

Mita Sensei previously led our workshop classes, and while she continues her work as an artisan, she now also focuses on mentoring the next generation while weaving.
Thanks to this special connection with Haru, we are pleased to announce that Ms. Mita will be hosting workshops on Wednesdays in May.
