MERI Reopens

MERI Reopens

Today, MERI has officially opened its doors.

Our new collection features designs inspired by traditional Japanese motifs—
pine and nandina—expressed in the straps.
We invite you to enjoy them alongside the cherry blossoms displayed in the store.

The space itself has been redesigned with a cooler aesthetic.
Deep grey tones form the base, and unnecessary elements have been stripped away, allowing you to focus entirely on MERI.

Each pair of MERI passes through many hands—
from design, to yarn-making, to weaving the sole, crafting the straps, and finally assembling the sandals.
Through this process, each piece is carefully brought to life.

They are strong and structured, yet surprisingly soft to wear—
a truly unique comfort that we hope you will experience in our new space.

You will also find popular items such as button hooks, tabi socks, and five-toe socks in the store.
We also recommend our socks inspired by the artwork of Hokusai—perfect as a small gift.

It is now cherry blossom season in Japan.
We look forward to welcoming you with sakura in bloom.
