MERIKOTI Will Be Temporarily Closed Due to Relocation

Thank you very much for visiting MERIKOTI and for your continued support.
We are pleased to share that MERIKOTI will be relocating in March 2026.
As we prepare for this move, the shop will be temporarily closed from February 16 to March 25.
On Thursday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m., we will reopen with a fresh new start under the store name “MERI,” which is also our brand name.
Our new location remains on Hokusai Street, just three buildings closer to Ryogoku Station.
While preserving the warmth and atmosphere that our customers know and love, we are carefully redesigning the space to be simpler, more refined, and more modern—allowing the world of MERI to shine even more.
We will be taking a little over one month off, but we hope to welcome you again just in time for cherry blossom season, one of the most beautiful times of year in Tokyo.
On March 31, the Edo-Tokyo Museum will also reopen after its renovation.
Its nearly four-year closure has felt long for the Ryogoku area, and its return marks an exciting new chapter for the neighborhood.
Both the museum and MERI are being reborn, adding new energy and charm to Ryogoku.
Hokusai Street, Ryogoku, and the surrounding area will be livelier than ever, and we warmly invite travelers and visitors to stop by MERI during your walk through the neighborhood.
By that time, the cherry blossoms along the Sumida River and around the Edo-Tokyo Museum are expected to be in full bloom, making it a perfect season to explore, stroll, and discover something special.
Until February 15, MERIKOTI is holding a big thank-you sale.
For the past 12 years, we have been supported by so many wonderful customers, including our local neighbors and visitors from near and far.
As a token of our gratitude, items are available at special prices with discounts of 50% to 70%.
We look forward to welcoming you again this spring at our new home, MERI.
