Therefore, to provide you with long-lasting products, we offer a service that craftsmen directly restore them with care.

Free Repairs
Repairs to stretched zori slippers
In most cases, MERI has stretched out unevenly due to walking or wearing habits. It just needs to be tightened properly because it is usually caused by the inner rope loosening and stretching.
However, if slippers become overstretched, the yarn may come completely undone, making it difficult to repair. Therefore, we recommend contacting us promptly.

Adjusting the straps causing discomfort
A strap is a very important part that bears your entire weight, and some people find the stitches rubbing between their toes uncomfortable.
Gently rubbing the stitches with your hands may help you break in them, but if you still feel discomfort, we can replace the straps with softer, seamless ones.

Chargeable Repairs
Replacement of damaged straps (for a fee)
If a tsubo, a part connecting a strap and a sole, is broken, we can replace it with a new tsubo.
It is also possible to replace the damaged straps as shown in the image with new ones.
Please bring a pair of slippers as we need to make sure there is no difference between the left and right sides.

Replacement for hand-knitted adornments (for a fee)
Some MERI slippers feature hand-knitted adornments. If they get damaged, they can be replaced with brand-new ones.
